Do I have to indicate the BIC of my bank during the payment process?

Do I have to indicate the BIC of my bank during the payment process?

The BIC (Bank Identifier Code) is an internationally valid bank code stipulated by the SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).

As the BIC is allocated by the SWIFT it is often named SWIFT-Code.

To anticipate your question: For payments within Germany you do not need to indicate the BIC!

Within the framework of the euro transfer procedure that has been valid since 2008, the IBAN (internationally standardised bank account number) and the BIC form the data that are necessary to properly identify a bank account in national and international payment transactions.

Why are credit card payments processed via PayPal and how does it work?

We also accept credit card payment via PayPal. However, you do not need your own PayPal account, just your valid credit card.

On selection of the payment method PayPal/credit card in the order process, you will be forwarded directly to the PayPal page. There you can conveniently transfer the amount payable via your credit card or via your personal PayPal account. 

If you have a PayPal account, you can log in and make your payment. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you must enter a valid credit card to complete your payment. If you do not wish to open a PayPal Account, select No, I don't want an account now and click Continue.
Once the payment is processed, you will be redirected back to our website.

If you decide to cancel the process, please use the link below to proceed.

Payment via PayPal is simple, secure and free of charge.


How can I collate or supplement orders already placed?

Contact us in person and ask whether it is possible to collate the orders. If you have ordered via the Internet, you can change your order yourself within the initial half hour after submitting the order. If necessary, please contact us:

How can I cancel, complain about or return my order?

In such cases, our Customer Service can assist you.

If the order has not yet been sent and is still in the warehouse, you can try to cancel via the Customer Service. Please contact us.

  • However, we recommend that you phone us as quickly as possible after placing the order when wishing to cancel, so that the order processing is halted.
  • Returns: If the delivery is already underway, you can return the goods within 14 days and thus use your right of revocation.

How can I determine where my parcel is and when it will be delivered?

1. You have placed a direct order with the Kräuterhaus Sanct Bernhard:

If you have placed an online order, you can check in your Account management under "Orders" as to whether the order is still being processed or whether the delivery has already been dispatched.

You are also welcome to contact our Customer Service and ask for the consignment number.
In this way you can carry out tracking of the consignment yourself on the respective website of the logistics service provider (Hermes, DHL, FedEx).
Our employees are happy to clarify when you will receive the ordered goods.

Do you also deliver to foreign countries? How high are the delivery costs to foreign countries (e.g. Switzerland, Austria, Italy and France)?

We deliver worldwide.

The delivery costs to foreign countries are orientated on the weight of the parcel and the destination. Our delivery costs calculator will give you an idea of the costs.

Deliveries to foreign countries are highly dependent on the postal service provider within the recipient country.

Your delivery takes place as quickly as possible; in Germany in general within 4 working days after closure of contract.

The Kräuterhaus Sanct Bernhard offers inexpensive prices through direct delivery to end customers.

We grant the following discounts: From an order value of

  • EUR 60.-    3% discount
  • EUR 100.-  4% discount
  • EUR 200.-  5% discount
  • EUR 500.-  7% discount

Shortly prior to completion of your online order, we will indicate to you the next possible discount level.

  • We deliver with free postage and delivery within Germany from an order value of EUR 40.-.
  • From an order value of EUR 80.-, you will also receive a selected product free of charge.
  • For the successful recommendation of a friend, you will receive a goods voucher.
  • We send our catalogues free of charge along with several free samples.
  • If you permit us to deduct the amount directly from your account, we will grant a further 3% discount.
