The story begins
Since 1903, Sanct Bernhard has stood for high-quality, effective natural remedies and personal care products from our own production. Just like almost all companies, the history of Kräuterhaus Sanct Bernhard also starts small. Already in the first half of the 20th century, the herbal teas were packaged and distributed under the 1903 registered trademark Sanct Bernhard in Düsseldorf.

Just as Bad Ditzenbach has changed and grown over the years in the Swabian Alb, Kräuterhaus Sanct Bernhard has also evolved over the years.

1960
Hägenmark production
In the 1960s, the Schulz family, which had long been known for its rosehip and juniper specialties, took over the sale of Sanct Bernhard herbal teas. Since then, the company has steadily expanded its product range to a total of over 600 different natural remedies, herbal and fruit teas and personal care products.

1967
Bad Ditzenbach in the 1960s
Bad Ditzenbach has changed a lot since then. The current company premises is located at around the left edge of the photo. The railway track Geislingen-Wiesensteig, which runs across the picture and was dismantled in the late 1960s, can also be clearly seen. Nowadays there is a cycle path along the former tracks from Bad Überkingen to Wiesensteig.

Relocation to new premises
The company grew further in the 1990s and initially moved into the premises of the current Vitalhotel. Another relocation to a neighbouring building took place several years later.
The owners are Mr Hans and Elmar Schulz. -
2001
Under a new roof
Relocation to the present administrative building with salesrooms on the ground floor.

Logistics
In order to meet the ever-increasing demand for our products, 2003 saw the move to a larger building, from where distribution and logistics are then organised and managed.

The exclusive, high-quality cosmetics from Kräuterhaus
Sanct Bernhard are produced by dedicated employees according to high quality standards. -
2010
A special highlight is opened in 2010:
A garden that stimulates all the senses and invites you to linger a while.
Our experience herb garden covers 3,000 m² and has about 500 different plant species. In addition to an inhalatorium with soothing salty sea air and the medicinal plant garden ,, which is grouped according to indication areas, the fragrance and colour garden seduces the senses.
Bus and visitor groups are offered an extensive tour with expert information on the effect and processing of plants. -

Opening of a new branch in Göppingen with cosmetic studio
Over an area of 120 square metres, we present our entire range of natural remedies and personal care products from our own production.
In our beauty salon we offer: cosmetic consultation, cosmetic facial and hand care as well as various massages. -

Opening Spezerei
Coffee house and chocolaterie - the ideal complement to your visit to Bad Ditzenbach!
Spezerei - what used to be called spice shops, today at Sanct Bernhard stands for the finest pleasure: exquisite specialities with the best ingredients always freshly produced. Be it a particularly good cup of coffee, a wonderfully delicious piece of cake, a fruity, creamy sundae or our creamy, delicate, hand-scooped chocolates. We also have cakes for special occasions in our repertoire. -
2013
110 years of Sanct Bernhard
In 2013 we celebrated the 110th anniversary of our company with our traditional courtyard party.

New pallet warehouse
The new high-bay warehouse is put into operation. Located directly next to the previous logistics centre, it offers space for 3300 pallets. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and air conditioning, it ensures compliance with strict hygiene and temperature regulations for storage.
